Top 5 Premier League Signing of the Season so Far

There has been a lot of excitement in this season Premier league with Chelsea looking like running away with the League title there are still a lot to play for though with the Top4 battle intensifying every single day and we are likely to see the toughest relegation battle we have seen in a while. With that going on and with two-third of the season gone we take a look at the premier League best signings of the season so far taking a look at the player performance and the transfer fee attached to such player.

5. Idrissa Gueye- The formal Aston villa man was signed by Everton in the summer with his release clause which was believed to be in the region of 8million pounds been activated it was a surprise not to see the top teams queuing for his signature, he made the highest number of successful tackles together with interceptions per game across Europe's top five leagues over the 2016 calendar year the 27years old has been a revelation so far this season averaging 4.8 tackles per game with an impressive 2.3 interception per game so far in the league this season .

4. Shkodran Mustafi- Mustafi joined Arsenal for a fee believed to be in the region of £35 million on the 30th August 2016 and he as been an ever present in the gunners defence since that moment what as made it more impressive is the fact that he didn't took him long to adapt to the English league as he was just coming from the Spanish league he was out injured for a short while and his impact was greatly felt by the team. He has managed an average of 2.1 tackles 2.8 interceptions and 4.9 clearances per game in the league this season.

Top 5 Premier League Signing of the Season so Far

3.Paul Pogba- Pogba joined united on a five-year deal on 8 August 2016 for a world record deal having left United just for a compensatory fee before then. Pogba had the weight of his transfer on his shoulders and had a mixed start to his second life at old trafford having some matches to totally forget but to me fair with him this man his just 23 years of age and he has been very very consistent for some time now and therefore feature in our best signing he had managed 4goals and 3assits having 3.4 shots per game,1.9 key passes and 2.5 dribbles per game

2.Sadio Mané- Sadio joined Liverpool on the 28 June 2016 for a fee that could rise up to £34 million on a five-year deal making it the most fee ever to be paid for a player from the African region. Sadio made the most of this oppurtunity by scoring a good goal on his competitive debut which was aganist Arsenal at the emirate he has not looked back since then and he left for the African cup of nation in January with Liverpool in 2nd spot but came back with Liverpool 5th on the log and on his Anfield debut after the cup of nations on the 11 February 2017 he scored twice against Spurs to give Liverpool there first league win of 2017 he has 11 goals and 4 assist to his name already in the league this season together with 2.2 shots per game, 1.7 key passes per game and 2.4 dribbles per game.
Top 5 Premier League Signing of the Season so Far

1.Zlatan Ibrahimovic- Zlatan signed for united as a free agent from PSG on the 1 July 2016 on a one-year deal with an option for an extension depending on performances and with the way things are going i think he has even outperformed his expectations at the age of 35 he has been a very constitent performance for United and the man who has always played for a big club since he left Malmo has shown why he was sorted after by different clubs regardless of his age when he was available with 15goals and 4 assists in the league and with a league high 4.3 shots per game, he has not necessarily surprised many but has outperformed his expectations on a free transfer we think he's is still be best signing of the season so far.

Liverpool VS Tottenham Player's Rating as Mane,Wijnaldum and others stars

Liverpool produced a masterclass display, spiced with individual brilliance, to secure a 2-0 win over top-four rivals Tottenham on Saturday evening. We look at the individual players rating for Liverpool in that match.

Liverpool 2-0 Tottenham Hotspur

Premier League,    Venue: Anfield
Date; February 11, 2017

Simon Mignolet – 8 (out of 10)

Before the game, rumors were flowing in that he wouldn't be starting but justified his inclusion with an assured performance making a terrific save from Son which might have chanced the face of the game and was more assured with his set piece handling, fully deserved clean sheet.

Nathaniel Clyne – 7.5

The full back has seen an unusual dip in form in recent weeks but was back to his best here combing very well with the man on fire(mane) an assured performance from him.

Joel Matip – 8

Since his return from injury, Matip has uncharacteristically struggled a bit but he had an almost perfect performance dealing with Kane and offered an outlet moving forward.

Lucas Leiva – 7.5

With Lovren out this man was again told to deputies he didn't take any risk with his clearance and defended well, missed a great chance to score a goal that has eluded him in the league for a long time, came out with what look like an injury

James Milner – 7

Nothing fancy, nothing flashy just a professional performance for the make shift left back.

Jordan Henderson – 8

When you play against the Midfield generals of Tottenham and come out on top in that battle you must have done something special, Performed well against the likes of Dembele and Wayanma it was an all round display by the skipper shielding the defence and providing excellent passes to start the attack

Adam Lallana – 8.5

With him on the verge of signing a new contract, he produce a spirited performance and on another day could have gotten on the score sheet with mane's pull back

Georginio Wijnaldum – 9 (Man of the Match)

A wonderful performance from this man, he got back into the team at the expense of Can and he will not be giving that back anytime soon with the type of performance he displayed, his pass to find Mane for the opening goal was exquisite and was never tired in Midfield, the main engine room for the Liverpool team.

Sadio Mane – 9

Mane’s absence when he left for the African cup of nations started a downturn of fortune to his team while he was winning games for his country, Senegal at the cup of nations Liverpool were really missing him and his first start at Anfield  since his return was marked with two well taken goals and could have had an hat-trick if not for the brilliance of Loris some might even argue he deserves the man of the match.
Liverpool VS Tottenham Match Ratings as Mane,Wijnaldum and others stars

Philippe Coutinho – 7

Still trying to find his feet after a spell on the sidelines he was tidy against spurs but not at his natural best, got into some openings in which he had a chance to hit his shoot on target he either failed to take the shot or missed the target with it, thinks he needs a goal to get back his confidence.

Roberto Firmino – 8.5

Speaking after the game, Klopp had a personal word of praise for Firmino, saying: “I don’t think I’ve seen a better performance from a striker without scoring.” he was relentless in closing down and being the first outlet of defence with this sought of performances the other strikers will be behind him for a while.

Substitutes

Emre Can (on for Coutinho, 77′) – 6 – Was introduced to help hold on to the win and did his job.

MANAGERS VIEW
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho: "The last time we played them, even a defeat would have been a good result. Even to lose the match by one goal difference would give us a final.

Hull head coach Marco Silva on the loan signing of Andrea Ranocchia: "Andrea is a good signing for us and he plays in a position that we needed to add to.

Chelsea vs hull city team news, managers opinions, match facts and betting guide

TEAM NEWS

trivalfootball.com

Diego Costa has returned to training with the rest of the first team and Antonio Conte has confirmed he is available for selection this weekend.
Markus Henriksen is ruled out for 2-3 months with a dislocated shoulder, but Hull's injury crisis does now appear to be easing after Marco Silva was able to welcome back a number of players for their 3-1 win over Bournemouth last weekend.

Silva may reward a number of the players that started in that victory with another chance to impress at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, although new signings Oumar Niasse and Evandro may be pushing for a start.

Robert Snodgrass hasn't managed to train in the build up to this match due to a slight muscle injury, but David Meyler and Shaun Maloney should be fine to feature on Sunday.

Dieumerci Mbonkani and Ahmed Elmohamady are absent for the next month due to their participation in the Africa Cup of Nations this month.

MANAGERS OPINION

Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte: "If you think this type of game is easy you make a great mistake, and you can pay for it at the end of the season.

"Hull are a good team. They have changed the coach and usually you have a great reaction from the players."

Hull head coach Marco Silva: "It will be a difficult game at Chelsea. They are the best team in the Premier League right now because they are in first position.

"The only difference this week is that we have had more time to prepare ahead of the game. That is important for me and my players.

"They have had more time to work with my ideas and hopefully we will see the benefits on Sunday."

FIFA gives Matip Liverpool Verdict

Joel Matip has been cleared to play for Liverpool by Fifa following confusion over the defender's availability during the Africa Cup of Nations.

Cameroon said he had refused a call-up, and Fifa rules state a player may be blocked from featuring for his club if he refuses to play for his country.

Matip, 25, was left out of Sunday's 1-1 draw with Manchester United as the Reds failed to get clearance on the issue.

But world football's governing body has dismissed the case.

Matip has not played for Cameroon since 2015 and was not included in their final 23-man squad for the tournament in Gabon.

The centre-back was one of seven Cameroon players to say they did not want to play, according to the country's football association (Fecafoot).

The defender cited a "bad experience" with previous coaching staff, Fecafoot said.

Speaking at the time, Cameroon coach Hugo Broos said: "These players have put personal interest above those of the national team and the federation reserves the right to take action in accordance with Fifa regulations."
