Chelsea forward Oscar has given the Blues fans a further reason to cheer this season after penning a new sea lot stay at the club until 2019, Sky Sports reports.
The 23-year-old midfielder has made 15 appearances this season in all competitions, scoring four goals for the Blues who are currently unbeaten and four points clear at the top of the Premier League table .
“I am so happy because I love playing for Chelsea and living in England. I have enjoyed playing here for two years, and now I have five more, so I am very happy,” he said. Oscar joined the club in the summer of 2012 from Internacional in his homeland and became a crucial member of the Chelsea first team last season, bagging 11 goals and forcing Jose Mourinho to part with Juan Mata, and he has since enjoyed a good partnership with the likes of Eden Hazard, Cesc Fabregas and Matic in the chelsea midfield this season helping chelsea to the top of the league table, the news will however serve as blow to the likes of PSG and Madrid who has both shown intrest in the past.
