Confirmed: Striker says Arsenal move is done, "Arsenal made a big offer and agreed to our main terms"

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will sign Velez Sarsfield striker Maximiliano Romero, agent Rolando Zarate has confirmed.
trivalfootball.com
The 17-year-old is expected to stay in Argentina for two more seasons before joining the Gunners for the 2018/2019 campaign.
Zarate announced the transfer last month but Spanish website Todo Mercato Web says the transfer will be made official in the coming weeks.
"Maxi has huge potential," Zarate said in quotes translated by Marca.
"I went to London to talk about Arsenal's offer, and then took it back to [Velez president] Raul Gamez.
"Arsenal agreed to our main terms."
- Maximiliano Romero
"Arsenal agreed to our main terms: that the player remains at Velez for two more years.
"Maxi is going to complete his apprenticeship at a great club like Velez. I met with Arsene Wenger twice in London. I negotiated with him and then with his assistants.
"They heard about Maxi Romero through their scouts in America. He was the player who most impressed them."

MANCHESTER UNITED SIGNS ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC

Zlatan Ibrahimovic all set to sign for Manchester United

Renowned Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf are convinced that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has signed for Manchester United on a free transfer to join his former mentor Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

Mirror have followed on the story and are convinced that the 34-year-old is said to have agreed a one-year deal with an option for a further year, and the move could be announced within the next 48 hours.

Ibrahimovic is keen to resolve his future before Euro 2016 after deciding to quit PSG this summer. AC Milan, Arsenal, Chelsea, LA Galaxy and an unnamed Chinese club were keen on the signing the Swedish superstar, however, Zlatan was always eager to link up with Mourinho.
Now that Jose is just an announcement away from being the new Manchester United manager, The Red Devils have acted quickly and signed Ibra on a one-year deal. He may have joined on a free transfer but will command a hefty salary.<!––nextpage––>
Another interesting angle covered by De Telegraaf is that, there are plans for Zlatan to become an ‘assistant coach’ at Manchester United after his playing career. He will indeed join as a player and won’t become a coach until after his retirement, probably in a few years from now.
Things are clearly looking on the up for Manchester United who are set to enter a new era under Mourinho with Zlatan being at the center of everything.
Just as I was about to close this article, news has just come in that bookmakers around the world have suspended betting on Zlatan joining Manchester United next season. Perhaps we can be assured of seeing a Mourinho-Ibrahimovic reunion at Old Trafford sooner rather than later.

Chelsea will have to up their offer for the Belgian international, after seeing their first bid rejected for star midfielder.Nainggolan recently ruled out leaving Italian giants this summer. However, Chelsea will get director Marina Granovskaia on the case due to her strong record in the transfer market and asked her to seal the deal for Premier League giants.
The Blues have also been heavily linked with The Foxes midfielder N’Golo Kante as they eye a big-name signing in the heart of the Midfield area.
The bid of £32million could be enough to strike a deal, though it remains to be seen if the 28-year-old will backtrack on his plans to remain in the Italian capital, according to the Daily Telegraph,
The Blues believe that Belgian ace can be persuaded, however, and that his stance has simply been to avoid jeopardising his relationship with the fans at Roma.
